Merry Christmas, tabloids: Seems Brad Pitt, 48, and Angelina Jolie, 36, might actually be tying the knot. Jolie was seen sporting a diamond on her ring finger while viewing works from LACMA's Chinese collection on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Calif.

And jeweler Robert Procop claims to be the designer of the ring. "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert," a statement from the jeweler reads. "He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina's hand."

"Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution," adds the jeweler. "The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality."

Hollywood.com spoke with Diamond Images USA, Inc. to find out how much such a ring would cost. They estimated it to be a 5-7 emerald cut diamond priced between $600,000 - $700,000.

In recent interviews, the couple has talked about their six children's (Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne) desire to see them get married. Maybe they finally convinced the couple to become Mr. and Mrs. Jolie-Pitt.
